The gaze offers multiple possibilities; perspectives that shift depending on time, place, and precise circumstance. This installation creates different physical points of view within the same piece, united from one angle only to reveal its lack of cohesiveness from another. The viewer is part of this confusion, pulled into parts of the picture by reflection or mirrors. Everything is precariously poised leaving the entire installation at risk of coming undone and collapsing back into its raw components. Here the work is shown mounted on plinths, although there are other ways to show it.
